Einstein tiles

Have you ever heard of an Einstein tile? I certainly never had until just a few moments ago. An Einstein tile is a 13-sided shape recently brought to life by a mathematician in the UK. It was theorized more than 100 years ago but it has never been brought to reality until now. What makes this shape so unique is that no matter the orientation, or the combination you can’t accidentally create a repeating pattern with this shape. While it is mathematically possible the amount of tiles required to make it a repeating pattern isnt practical.

Go see what you can learn about this. I personally cannot wait to see this pattern introduced in textiles and other designs in the marketplace.
